THREI adds Elmore Alexander as new Director

Dr. Elmore Alexander, Dean, School of Management at Marist College, has joined the Board of The Hudson Renewable Energy Institute.  The Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to encourage the development and use of renewable energy through competitive market mechanisms.

Prior to joining Marist College, Dr. Alexander was the Dean of the School of Business Administration at Philadelphia University.  He previously served as Director of the Division of Business and Management at Johns Hopkins University, Associate Dean and Chair of the Management Department within the Kogod School of Business Administration at American University in Washington, D.C. and as Professor of Management and Director of the Fogelman Executive Center at the University of Memphis.

Dr. Alexander has his Ph.D. and M.A. in organizational behavior from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia and a B.A. in economics and communications from Wake Forest University.

In making the announcement, Allan R. Page, Chairman of the Board of the Institute, stated that Dr. Alexander’s capabilities in the areas of economics and business management are best-in-class and the Institute is extremely fortunate to have Elmore join our Board.

THREI adds Joseph Del Sindaco as Director

The Hudson Renewable Energy Institute Adds Joseph Del Sindaco as Director

Joseph Del Sindaco, former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the New York Power Authority (NYPA), has joined the Board of The Hudson Renewable Energy Institute.  The Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to encourage the development and use of renewable energy through competitive market mechanisms.

Mr. Del Sindaco has over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.  During his career he served as Chief Operating Officer for the Empire State Development Corporation.  Additionally, Mr. Del Sindaco served on NYPA’s Economic Development Power Allocation Board and is a former Town Supervisor of the Town of Bedford, New York.

In making the announcement, Allan R. Page, Chairman of the Board of the Institute, stated that Mr. Del Sindaco’s capabilities in the areas of finance and energy are second to none and the Institute is extremely fortunate to have Joe join our Board.
